  • 2 tablespoons tapioca flour.
  • 1 cup water.
  • ½ cup brown sugar.
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder.

Instructions
 

  • Start by cooking the taro. Peel and cube the root vegetable before boiling it in water for 15 minutes or until it's soft.
  • Once cooked, mash the taro until it forms a smooth paste.
  • Mix tapioca flour, water, brown sugar, and baking powder in a small bowl.
  • Add the tapioca flour mixture to the mashed taro and mix until well combined.
  • Scoop out small balls of the mixture and drop them into a pot of boiling water.
  • Cook for 3-5 minutes or until the balls float to the surface.
  • Remove from the pot and let them cool before adding them to your taro boba tea. And voila.
